Grade 1 – 7 queries – Lezel McCrae admissions.jr@sacsjr.org.za (Grade 1-7)

Boys turn 5 in their Grade N year. Starting in 2024 SACS is thrilled to be offering 60 places to Grade N pupils in our new Early Childhood Development Centre. All places for 2024 have been filled.

Boys turn 6 in their Grade R year. All applications for 2025 need to please be made through the WCED portal between    1 August – 16 August 2024. Please note that WCED applications do not roll over and therefore a new application must be made each year for the following year through WCED. Applications for the 2024 intake have already closed. The closing date for applications is prescribed by the Western Cape Education Department. Acceptances are confirmed by the end of the second term for admission in January of the following year.

Our main intake of boys usually happens in Grade N and Grade R which means that there are very few spaces available in other grades, usually only when a boy leaves the school. Vacancies for Grades 1-7 are usually reviewed in the latter part of the year. Please note that it is the responsibility of the Applicant to inform the Admissions Office of any changes to the application, such as change of address, school or application withdrawal.
