SACS Junior School is incredibly lucky to have a wonderful aftercare programme, where we go above and beyond to provide a safe, enriching, and exciting environment for your child beyond regular school hours. Located at J E de Villiers House on the SACS Estate, our aftercare program is designed with parents in mind, providing invaluable support by extending the school day and ensuring a seamless experience for busy families.

Our Aftercare team works closely with the Junior School teaching staff to provide a daily one-hour assisted homework period for Grades 1 to 3 and a designated homework or study period for Grades 4 to 7, making it easier for your child to stay on top of their academic responsibilities.

During their time with us, your boys will flourish in a nurturing space that fosters friendships, encourages positive social interactions, and promotes personal growth. They will have the opportunity to interact with their peers and older boys who serve as mentors and role models, fostering a sense of unity within our school community.

We provide a light lunch for all boys and offer healthy snacks throughout the afternoon. Fridays are particularly special as they are celebrated as “treat day,” where boys can relax with an ice-cream or ice bite while enjoying a full day of free play after a week of school. With a delightful array of activities and games, our aftercare program ensures that every afternoon is filled with laughter, learning, and joy for your child.
