School Spirit
School spirit and our house system play a crucial role in fostering a vibrant and cohesive community within our school. We believe that school spirit is important because it ignites a sense of belonging and unity among the boys, creating an environment where they feel supported, valued, and connected to their peers. School spirit also promotes a strong identity and pride in their school, instilling a sense of loyalty and dedication towards academic and extracurricular pursuits.
The SACS house system enhances healthy competition, camaraderie, and teamwork. Our four houses are Kipps (green), Hofmeyr (light blue), Von Holdt (dark blue), and Lewis (red). Dividing students into houses encourages collaboration and provides opportunities for leadership and personal growth. It also cultivates a sense of healthy rivalry during various inter-house competitions, spurring academic and athletic excellence. By embracing school spirit and a house system, we aim to nurture a tightly-knit community that fosters friendships, motivates achievements and prepares our boys to become responsible citizens and leaders in their future endeavors.
